Mission teams provide medical care to many underdeveloped areas of the world. These include both impoverished nations and more developed areas which still see some regional disparity of available care. Additionally, they may deploy to any nation, or domestically within the United States, to aid disaster recovery.
Often, students in medical programs, including undergraduate or accelerated programs such as Nursing, embark on short-term medical mission trips. Such trips may be organized by college institutions, church mission groups, other non-profits, or cooperative partnerships between these entities. Many charitable medical missions have a religious component, either in funding and/or range of services provided.

PGR
The office of the Prosecutor General of the Republic can be thought of in a similar light as the US Attorney General's office. Just as the Department of Justice has federal enforcement agents in the United States (FBI, DEA, et al.), so too does the PGR in Mexico.
Federal Police
The most commonly seen federal police agency in Mexico, the Federal Police (Policia Federal / PF / "Federales") might be described as more often a patrol agency than investigative agency, though roles, missions, and authorities are prone to overlap with other agencies, and also change over time. The force includes investigative and more heavily-armed divisions (Gendarmerie Division) within its ranks.
DHS
Agencies of the United States Department of Homeland Security cooperate with many foreign nations to pursue common law enforcement goals. The details, and effectiveness, of these various relationships may fluctuate over time. Sub Rosa explores some of the advantages and the difficulties to be found such operations.
DHS CBP
Agencies and functions merged into Customs and Border Protection in the prior decade cover a wide variety of law enforcement and information gathering duties. Both ground agents and CBP's aerial surveillance and enforcement play significant roles in Sub Rosa.
